December 2013. Foundry Conference No. 7 – “Melting. The Beginning”

In early December the annual Foundry Conference was held in Chelyabinsk. This time it was devoted to “Melting. The Beginning”. The conference had a polemical character. Beside the traditional reports, special attention was paid to round tables devoted to “Arc and induction furnaces” and “Lining materials and modification”. The participants had an opportunity to ask any questions of interest and heard qualified answers given by manufacturers and specialists.

SME Vulkan-TM employees actively participated in the discussions. In the course of the conference the company representatives received partnership proposals from a number of machine-building and metallurgical companies concerning delivery of ladle metal blowing equipment.
