Melting pots for steel casting ladles and induction furnace
Scope and purpose
Crucibles (refractory cartridges) are used for monolithic lining of foundry ladles with a capacity of 0.1 – 1 t, as well as induction furnaces. They serve to reduce heat loss and protect the equipment case from high temperatures and contact with liquid metal and slag, due to high heat resistance and fire resistance, chemical inertness, and high insulating properties of the crucible material.
Characteristics
They can have various configurations and sizes, including a non-standard type, depending on the drawings and features of the customer’s foundry bucket.
Basic indicators
Products are manufactured according to TU 1584-001-43539424-2018

Benefits:
- saving energy by reducing the time for preparing the bucket before pouring – there is no need for a drying operation (only heating);
- ensuring operational safety;
- no need for skilled masons — the product is guaranteed by the manufacturer;
- ease of installation and dismantling;
- increased service life – up to 310 fillings (when casting iron and steel)
