Scope of Application
The nozzle-collector is used to direct the molten metal jet, minimize splash formation, and protect metal against secondary oxidation.
SME Vulkan-TM Nozzle-Collectors
Vulkan-TM makes nozzle-collectors from a high-aluminous material using the vibroforming technique.
These products can be custom-made, with the maximum manufacturing time not exceeding 30 days.
The nozzle-collector operation temperature is 1,750°С-1,770ºС, the service life is up to nine melts, Al2O3 content is up to 95%, depending on the operating conditions. The product is precision machined, which provides for a correct and reliable seating. It is manufactured both as part of the cluster block set and as a separate item.
