Ceramic bands
Scope of Application
Ceramic bands are designed for fixing the internal refractory and thermal insulation layers of the lining to the furnace casing. They are made of corundum-based ceramics using the vibroforming technique.
SME Vulkan-TM Bands
Advantages of bands made by SME Vulkan-TM:
- Operating temperature up to 1,700°C;
- High thermal resistance (ability to withstand significant and rapid temperature changes) due to a swivel anchor joint.
